The stock is adjustable for length of pull with spacers (not included) and comb height in a flat Cerakote dark earth finish. The rear stock also has an adjustable quick drop monopod to provide additional stability when used in conjunction with a bipod (not included) mounted to the lower fore end. This coupled with a comfortable pistol grip allows staying in position for hours without fatigue. Both the fore end and receiver have Picatinny rails. The top rail has 20 MOA elevation built in to maximize the adjustment range of high-magnification optics.
To ensure the rifle’s accuracy lives up to its outstanding looks, the barrel and chamber are machined to match grade tolerances. The 4 grooved fluting barrel with a 1:12 twist rate, is made from stainless steel and is threaded and fitted with a SureFire muzzle brake/suppressor adapter that can accept quick attach suppressors. The barrel finish is what kimber calls Self-lubricating matte KimPro II. The barrel action is bedded flat at the bottom of the chassis towards the receiver.

It incorporates a full-length Mauser claw extractor for true controlled feeding and extraction, with a steel fluted bolt with a front locking repeater finished in premium self lubricating matte KimPro II. The 3-position model 70-type wing safety that is positive, quiet and fast. The adjustable match grade trigger is carefully tuned to break clean at 3-3.5 pounds right out of the box.

Kimber takes its tactical rifle line one step further with the addition of the Advanced Tactical SOC rifle for today’s most demanding shooters.
